The autumn/winter 2022 edition of London Fashion Week has been especially noteworthy thanks to an integrated show season that included men's, women's, and gender-neutral designs, as well as the historic return of in-person presentations. Although there were still some digital presentations to view, the emphasis has finally switched back to actual runways, giving London's chicest week new life and enthusiasm. So, you're at the proper position whether you're looking for items you missed or want to relive every precious moment. See all the significant activities, runway highlights, and standout instances from the five-day capital's fashion show by scrolling down.

Shows to remember and indelible moments

In honour of his late father, British designer Daniel Reed created a deeply personal, 70s-inspired collection. Silk separates with heart cutouts and a large red and white scarf knit for the designer by none other than Olympic diver Tom Daley were standout pieces.

The real magic occurred when Viviana Durante and her students from the English National Ballet School performed a choreographed dance while wearing Preen's new collection. Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton's return to the runway was as unforgettable in terms of the location (Heaven nightclub) and the attire itself.

As would be expected, LFW was packed with famous people who were dressed to impress—and they succeeded! Notable mentions go to Chloe Cherry's spiky Chet Lo dress with a plunging V-neckline, Tinie Tempah's on-trend checkerboard co-ord, and FKA Twigs' tiered tulle dress and eyelet detail shrug.

Harris Reed – Special guest

Sam Smith appeared on stage to serenade the audience at Harris Reed's maiden runway show, 60 Years a Queen, giving them more than just the classic looks he served out. Inside the church of St. John's Smith Square in Westminster, Smith gave a memorable performance of Des'ree's I'm Kissing You, accompanied by a grand piano.

New trendy styles

Since the runways will determine what everyone will be wearing in a few months, we made care to record the most notable looks and trends that kept coming up during fashion week.

Velvety texture

Velvet will be back in style for fall and winter, if the likes of Edward Crutchley, Simone Rocha, and Christopher Kane are any indication (and they are). Watch out for bold designs as well as some softer, pastel-colored items for a contemporary spin.

Coloured tones

Numerous designers this past week included jewel-toned pieces in their collections, including Molly Goddard, Eudon Choi, Paul & Joe, Halpern, and many more, and we're not at all upset about it. For a nod to the trend, add one jewel-toned piece to your ensemble, or go full block colour with your entire outfit!
